We welcome inquiries from reporters, editors, producers, and other media professionals interested in covering hunger, food access, community partnerships, volunteerism, and the work of the Food Bank of North Alabama.

The Food Bank of North Alabama works to end hunger across our region by providing food and resources to neighbors experiencing food insecurity. Through a network of more than 200 partner agencies and community programs, we increase access to nutritious food and respond quickly during times of crisis.

For more than 41 years, the Food Bank has served 11 counties across North Alabama — Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marshall, and Morgan — supporting children, seniors, veterans, and working families. In the past year alone, we distributed over 15 million pounds of food, with approximately 40% consisting of fresh fruits and vegetables.
