The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, once known as food stamps, gives eligible households monthly funds to buy groceries, yet many neighbors who qualify never apply. While the Food Bank of North Alabama does not process SNAP applications ourselves, we partner with the Benefits Enrollment Center to connect you with free, confidential help. The Benefits Enrollment Center assists Alabama residents in checking their eligibility and applying for the benefits they need to purchase healthy food.
